Having a variety of ways in which you can communicate to family members or rescue workers in an emergency situation can be a matter of life and death.  Family members should have a way of communicating with each other, whether it be with walkie talkies, 2-way radios or a whistle.  Many of our communicaiton devices also double as lights, phone charges and other things you'll be happy you have in a disaster situation.
